Dave Brubeck (real name David Warren Brubeck) was born in Concord, California December 6, 1920. He is considered one of the outstanding representatives of cool jazz (jazz, California 1950 — 1960). One of his most famous worksfor the quartet became jazz composition Take Five, created by composer Paul Desmond in 1959.
Brubeck became the first jazz musician, appeared on the cover of the American magazine Time.
As reported by the Associated Press on Wednesday Brubeck accompanied by his son was going to see a cardiologist. On the way, the musician had a heart attack, from which he died after some time. The date and place of the funeral, the musician is not reported.
