The concert is opened by Polish guest conductor Boguslav Davidov invited by the artistic director and chief conductor of Tatarstan Symphony orchestra — Alexander Sladkovsky. According to foreign Mass Media, Davidov is a great conductor with a clear rhythm and a wonderful attitude to the orchestra, « which produced a truly magnificent Viennese sound … with romance and humor in his hands ».
The Kazan audience will hear first two symphonies by Beethoven written in 1801 and 1802 years – in one of the best periods of composer’s life.
The next compositions will be performed by The State Symphony orchestra Of Tatarstan Republic in December, February and March. The cycle will be ended by the performance of the famous Ninth Symphony (including the fragment of « Ode to Joy », which is used as the EU anthem) April 27 during the III International Festival «Rahlin seasons.» This time Maestro Sladkovsky will be conductor himself. 7and 8 th Symphony will be conducted by Austrian conductor Ernst Theis, according to the press service of Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan.
