Subject Bach-Fest 2013: «Bach and German music.» The program of this year’s festival will feature traditional works not only of Johann Sebastian Bach, and other composers. This time will be performed works by German composers who composed for organ, for which Bach was the unquestioned authority: Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Josef Rheinberger. Also in the festival program includes works by JS Bach German contemporaries, as well as a program of musical compositions from the St. Thomas Cathedral, where Bach worked as a cantor for 27 years
The concert will feature the works of opening-Bach, Liszt, Mahler. Hans-Jörg Albrecht — conductor, choirmaster and organist of the Munich Bach Choir and Orchestra will conduct the concert
