A key event of the festival is a return to the repertoire of ballets by William Forsythe’s «dizzying thrill accuracy» (The Vertiginous thrill of exactitude) and «Where are hanging golden cherry” (In the middle, somewhat elevated) (March 3). Revival of the ballet by coaches engaged Noah Gelber and Catherine Bennett. Virtuoso language of Forsythe develops a new generation of artists and the Mariinsky. The festival presents two benefices. March 5 Catherine Kondaurova plays female part in all three parts of George Balanchine «Jewels»: usually «Emeralds,» «Rubies» and «Diamonds» dance different soloist.
March 8 there willbe Vladimir Shklyarov evening, which in 2013 marks a decade of creative activity.
