Sofia Soloists» Chamber Ensemble under the guidance of Plamen Djouroff performs on October 30 in Veliky Novgorod Philharmonic.
The ensemble was founded in 1962. Repertoire includes more than 600 works, ranging from baroque to contemporary music. Recently, the staff worked with Albrecht Broyninger, Patrick Gallois, Heinz Holliger and Nigel Kennedy.
November 21 in D.Shostakovich St. Petersburg Philharmonic there will be a gala concert of Bulgaria opera stars. Plamen Beykov (bass) (he was the last student of the famous Boris Hristov), Apostle Milenkov (bass-baritone), Alexander Nosikov (bass), Maria Zhekova (mezzo-soprano). Russian performers in this concert will be Mariinsky Theatre soloist, People’s Artist of Russia — Vladimir Galuzin (tenor), Conductor — Mikhail Tatarnikov and Orchestra of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
On the same day, November 21, at 12.00 in the Museum of Artillery, in St. Petersburg, will host an exhibition «Forgotten photographs of Russian-Turkish war.»
