This evening there gave the premiere of «Stone Flower»- Grigorovich first ballet from where exactly 55 years ago, began his choreographic career.
Then, in the forum and in the spirit of the time there was a meeting of the «round table» where the phenomenon of Grigorovich discussed online with a live broadcast to the Internet. Genuine interest of public was provoked by the documentary on the life and work of a remarkable choreographer. There was another premiere — Ballet «Elektra» with music by Richard Strauss, put on a libretto by Yuri Grigorovich.
Still, the main event of the forum was the contest of young ballet dancers and choreographers. It is clear that the jury was headed by Yuri Grigorovich.
The jury had to assess more than 50 young dancers who came to Krasnoyarsk from different cities of the country.
